This online physiotherapy course shares simple eating tips to help you create a consistent eating plan. Topics include:
- Kitchen accessibility – to help you design your space to save energy and maximize your independence
- Nutrition for people with disabilities – why it matters and what you can do about it
- Healthy, fast and easy recipes – a few ideas to get you started on a simple, affordable and consistent eating plan

Kathy Pringle has been a practicing Occupational Therapist, Accessibility Consultant and mobility equipment authorizer in Ontario for more than three decades. She has a diploma in Architectural Technology and teaches other OTs about home modification. Kathy advises clients and insurance providers on home accommodations to meet individual needs.
Joanne Smith is a Certified Nutrition Practitioner whose practice specializes in creating customized nutrition protocols for people with disabilities. She is the co-author of Eat Well Live Well with Spinal Cord Injury & Other Neurological Conditions, the first nutrition book dedicated to addressing the unique nutritional needs of people with spinal cord injuries, and is a regular nutrition columnist for several magazines in Canada and the USA. Joanne's expertise in the disability community comes from her personal experience of living with a spinal cord injury for over thirty years, as well as her years as the Host & Producer of a Gemini award winning program "Moving On" and "Accessibility in Action".
Glen Bugg owns a successful electrical services company near Peterborough, Ontario. Now five years post spinal cord injury, Glen is doing great. He shared photos of his kitchen renovation funded through auto insurance benefits.
