Train the Trainer Part 3: Recording 101

Like webcams, phone cameras are accessible and generally pretty easy to use. While the quality of the camera on your phone (at least the one on the back) is likely better than that of a webcam and it will provide you with a few more options to adjust, they are still somewhat limited.

The model of the phone will determine a lot when it comes to your options and quality. The biggest problem with recording a lecture on a phone is that you would require a tripod designed specifically for a phone so that you could set up a decent shot. These might be best kept for recording exercises unless you want to buy the specialized tripod mount.

Please note that we will generally not accept footage shot in vertical/portrait mode. Always shoot video in horizontal/landscape mode.
